Our rooms
Explorers and Discoverers
Our little Explorers room is dedicated to meet the individual needs of your child. At the nursery we understand the importance of the well-being of the children, which is why we work with parents to follow the routine that best meets the needs of the child. Within this room the children have their own bespoke sleep room, and our facilities include a milk kitchen.
At Aspire we understand that babies learn mainly through sensory play. Our baby rooms are specially designed to stimulate children’s senses and enhance their abilities and curiosity.
Our little Discoverers are our slightly older babies and the room features a art and craft area and a dressing up area full of fun accessories.
The children enjoy taking part in French singing and movement class on Tuesdays and a special lively music class on a Friday. As well as outings to the local parks and library.
Imagineers and Pioneers
Approx. 18 months to 34 months
Our pre/early toddler rooms let children explore and become independent children, building on their excitement for imaginative play. Each room engages the children in using their skills they learnt in the younger rooms and helps them develop a stronger use of language through play.
Each room has a changing area, but also a toilet. Learning to toilet train is a huge life change for them, so seeing a toilet and a gentle encouragement to sit on it before a nappy change can help them become confident and starts their independent thinking ability to take the next step.

Approx. 3 months to 20 months
Creators and Adventurers
Approx. 24 months to 36 months
Our children in Creators and Adventurers are really start to develop their emotions and understanding themselves. There learning and development has taken a big jump, their friendships and stronger than ever and they start to develop their play in a whole new way. They are given the freedom and opportunities to develop these new skills and emotions. Children will start to be encouraged to self serve their own meals, drink from cups.
The children will have the opportunity to take part in Tennis on Monday or Wednesday and Zumba on Fridays. The children will also go to fishponds to explore nature and do crafts once a week as well in our own nature sessions.
Two year old progress check
When your child turns 2 years old they are invited to have a 2 year old progress check completed by their health visitor. At the nursery we also provide a service to assist with this check, and complete a progress check on them, please inform us when you have received information on this and we can arrange our check to be completed alongside it. This is normally around 27 months.
Inventors and Investigators
Approx. 3 1/2 years to school leavers
At this age we start looking to prepare the children ready for School. The year before school the children will join Investigators, please click on the link below for further details on how we prepare the children in this room.
Our Inventors are are turning 3 but not quite ready for school. They have great opportunities to try out new experiences and grow. The children will go to the toilet independently, start to grow their understanding of the world around them, and how we can be solve problems with friends. They have a natural love for mark making and being active, pushing their own little limits. They will start to use technology more, and become confident learners.
The children will have the opportunity to take part in Tennis on Wednesday, Mandarin on Thursdays and Zumba on Fridays. The children will also go to fishponds to explore nature and do crafts once a week as well in our own nature sessions.
